Roots
Roots represent an ever-growing relationship with God by loving people.
Just as roots continue to reach deeper and deeper, we want our love for one another to grow more and more. 1 John 4:20 says, “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.”
“There are only three things that remain when all is said and done — faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13).
The Roots season is a continual opportunity for you to involve yourself with others through group life. During three quarters throughout the year the church will offer a grouplink opportunity to connect with a small group of your choice. After each quarter, individuals can change groups or remain in their current group. Groups can meet in a variety of settings according to their wishes. A volunteer facilitator will present three questions to the group for discussion. We encourage each person to find creative and sincere ways to express love toward another.
