"Rebuilding Your Trust In God"

A 6-week class facilitated by author and teacher Ryan Maher
Starts Thursday, September 10th, at 6:30 PM
Room 102
What happens when suffering, disappointment, unanswered prayer, or the actions of other people leave someone wondering whether God can really be trusted?

Based on Ryan Maher’s book, The God Worth Trusting: Restoring Faith in a Good God, this six-week class will confront some of the most difficult questions Christians face. Is God responsible for everything that happens? Does everything happen for a reason? Can our choices change what happens? Why does God allow freedom, and what does it mean to say that He is sovereign? Together, participants will examine Scripture, challenge harmful misconceptions, and discover how Jesus gives us the clearest picture of what God is truly like.

Whether someone is struggling with doubt, recovering from pain, helping a hurting friend, or simply wanting a stronger biblical foundation, this class will offer honest conversation, practical teaching, and room to wrestle with difficult questions. Participants will learn to separate God’s character from the suffering they have experienced and begin building a faith rooted in His goodness. The goal is not merely to learn more about God… it is to know Him more deeply, trust Him more fully, and live with greater confidence in His love.
